Miscellaneous Classes

Presance: Greetings. I'm Donald Presance, a Walstanian priest. As you train to be great male and female warriors, it is easy to overlook some of the other classes. However, in God's eyes, all creatures are equal. So I will shed some light on the mysterious miscellaneous and demi-human classes that can be found throughout the game. Here's a little reminder in case you forgot what's going on. Please note that a human character cannot turn into any of these characters and vice versa, at least by any natural means. Ready? May God be with us!

Faerie

Requirements
This cute little Faerie has tiny wings, allowing her to float over the ground. She is of most use as a support character because her attack power isn't very high--you shouldn't expect strong attacks from her. Her abilities, however, allow her to help her allies win in battle. If you want to put her on the offensive, it would be best to give her a bow or crossbow so that she can keep her distance from the enemy.

Spells/Abilities:
CuteKiss:Restores a small amount of HP to the target and cures any status ailments that they may have. Damages user.
DeepKiss: Restores a lot of HP to the target and makes their WT fall to 0. Damages user.
HolyBolt: Hurls a sphere of holy energy at the target. Undead characters will vanish. Damages user.

Gremlin

Requirements
Essentially an evil version of the Faerie, the Gremlin's special skills focus on attacking enemies rather than on helping allies. Gremlins have a lot less vitality and mentality than Faeries do, but they have more strength, agility, and dexterity; because of this, they are splendid attackers to be feared. However, you shouldn't place them in the front line, as they cannot take a lot of punishment. As with Faeries, it is best to give Gremlins either bows or crossbows so that they can keep their distance.

Lizard Man

Requirements
The Lizard Man is a tough fighter covered with hard scales. Their attack capabilities lie in between those of a Soldier and a Knight, but they have better defense and the added ability of going into water. Over their human counterparts, Lizard Men have a tremendous advantage in lakeside and swamp areas; in terms of growth, they are very good overall. This class would definitely make a worthwhile addition to your attack team.

Spells/Abilities:
Walk In Water: Able to walk into lakes and rivers.

Hawk Man

Requirements
This winged man lives three times as long as any human. Possessing the natural ability to fly, they can move about on any battlefield unhindered by the terrain type. However, you must not send him out to attack the enemy alone, as he is not built for extensive hand-to-hand combat. Take advantage of his ability to fly and give him a bow or crossbow, having him fly up to the rooftops to attack from afar. Overall, a very useful class.

Gorgons possesses the ability, "EvilEyes"--with it, they can petrify all the characters on the battlefield except those that are either on the Gorgon's side or behind them, those that have a shield equipped, those that are not looking right at the Gorgon, and those that are standing behind an obstacle or another character. Overall, this class is incredibly useful--too bad you can't get any Gorgons until late in the game, in Hell Gate!

Goblin

Requirements
Goblins are extremely rare and hard to find--in fact, the only place in Valeria where they exist is in Hell Gate on Ekshita Island. In battle, Goblins are fierce and quick fighters, having great strength, good speed, and an affinity for Hammers. In addition they also have good mobility, being able to move six panels while their human counterparts can only move five.

Pumpkin Head

Requirements
This Pumpkin Head exists as a result of the experiments of the Zenobian Witch, Deneb. They are extremely rare and hard to find--in fact, you never actually fight one in battle. The only way you can recruit one is by finding a Glass Pumpkin in Hell Gate and selling it to Deneb. Pumpkin Heads have unique abilities which only they can use, and one of these mysterious creatures could make an interesting addition to your Attack Team!

Ghost

Since they are already dead, they can recover from having 0 HP in a short while--the only way to eradicate them for good is to use Exorcism. They have no flesh, so they are resistant to physical attacks; they are great to stick in the front row because enemy characters always seem to attack them before attacking the living members of your Attack Team.
