Chapter Three (Neutral), Scene Kappa: Griate

This scene is optional, and is only available if you did not embark on the Scene Gamma / Scene Epsilon sidequest - go to Griate from Amorika, after making plans to liberate Rime and before liberating Coritani Castle.

(Denim arrives in Griate to find some Gargastan spies on a reconnaissance mission. A Hawk Man named Orgeu leads the spies.)

Orgeu: Shit, they've found me! I see! The guy we captured is your comrade, a spy! Just my luck! Oh well, get ready! I will kill you all!

Orgeu Hawk Man Battle Kappa: Griate Objective: Kill the leader! Leader: Orgeu Enemies: 2 Berzerkers, 2 Hawk Men, 2 Octopuses, 1 Siren, 2 Witches Union: Gargastan Kingdom Notes: One of the enemy Berzerkers has the Aqua, and will drop it when defeated. Also, the Siren and the Witches will drop a Magi++ when defeated. Orgeu: Sorry Zaebos. The attack on Amorika is...a failure...

(Inside one of the houses in Griate, a swordsman makes quick work of the remaining Gargastan troops.)

Gargastan Soldier: Help me! Help!! (Denim enters) Ahh!

Spy: Is this your comrade too?

Gargastan Soldier: Please have mercy! I don't have a grudge against the Liberation Army! Please, don't kill me! (to Denim) That guy isn't human! He's blind and I thought it would be easy to get him...please don't kill me! I was just following orders! Please!

Denim: Fine! Get out of here!

Gargastan Soldier: Thank you. I will never forget this.

Denim: Get lost! I said now!

(the Gargastan soldier runs away)

Spy: (to Denim) You're awfully kind.

Denim: My name is Denim of the Liberation Army. Denim Powell.

Spy: So you are the young warrior of the Liberation Army...my name is Haborym Va...Haborym Vandam.

Denim: What are you doing here?

Haborym: I heard that you are fighting against the Dark Knights. I would like to join you.

Denim: You hate the Dark Knights?

Haborym: I have my reasons. For example, they took away my sight.

Denim: .........

Haborym: I can't see but my skills with a sword are second to none. Will you let me join your troops? If I become a burden, you can abandon me.

Denim:

1. I welcome you.
2. Sorry...

Denim: I welcome you. Haborym: Thank you. Join up! Haborym Sword Master

Denim: Sorry, but you can't. Haborym: That is too bad. I hope we will meet again...
