Basic Male Classes


Canopus: How's it going? I'm Canopus, the Wind Rider. In a way, the most critical point in your training will be the very beginning. Screw up, and you'll really regret it later! So to help you along, I'll explain the basic male classes. My buddy, Mildain, will explain the basic female classes. Be gentle with him, because he's sort of shy. But first, I may have to go over the statistics with you, in case you're totally new to all of this. If you're ready, let's get started.




Soldier

Requirements
This is the basic class for male characters. However, "basic" doesn't mean that it is a lower and weaker class, as its parameters will go up steadily. In terms of growth, this class is one of the most balanced; depending on the way you grow the character, you can use it in any situation.

Ninja

Of high agility and good with a sword, the Ninja is better at hitting the target rather than giving damage. A Ninja can climb 3 stories high and can jump down 4 stories; in addition, Ninjas can use the same spells as Wizards. Their main weakness is their lack of physical defense, so be sure to keep that in mind when sending them into battle. Overall, a very flexible class.

Attack+: With a one-handed weapon in each hand, they can attack twice.
Walk On Water:Able to walk on the surfaces of lakes and rivers.


Beast Tamer

A Beast Tamer is very influential towards Gryphons and other monsters--as a result, any beast within three panels of him will receive a boost in power. Beast Tamers have good strength and defense, but no magical ability. This is a good class to supplement your training program with.

Knight

Knights are loyal and mighty warriors that will fight for honor and grace rather than for food. They have better technique and strength than a Soldier, and make very good front row fighters. They cannot use magic, but they can make good use of a number of weapons with elemental properties.

Wizard

A Wizard is a magician who can use a large range of attack magic. He is well experienced and has deep knowledge; he is an essential character to have in the rear line of your unit. He has relatively low defense and endurance, so you definitely want to make sure that he is well protected by his allies. The trick is to take the time to grow the character.

Berzerker

A warrior who is tremendously powerful in physical strength, a Berzerker will do anything to achieve his goal. He is a valuable ally to have in a physical fight--his physical defense power is greater than that of a Knight! Berzerkers wield their axes with force, and can take a lot of punishment.
