Although physically alive, Debordes lacks his soul. While alive, he was a
member of a political group that opposed Cardinal Barbatos; because of his
involvement with that group, he is executed by the Cardinal. However, Nybbas,
the father of Debordes, disturbed his son from his eternal rest through the
unholy powers of necromancy. Currently, Debordes roams the land with his
sister Orias--it seems that maybe, little by little, he is regaining some part
of his soul...
