Lans Hamilton is one of the veterans from Ogre Battle. Being one of King
Tristan's Zenobian Holy Knights, he and his men were sent on a secret mission
to retrieve Fenril's Holy Sword, the Brunhild, under the guise that they
had been exiled and had become mercenaries.
During Bacrum's attack on Rime, Lans nobly defended the town, but was
eventually overcome and taken prisoner by the Dark Knights. He was kept in
an underground jail in Heigm Castle for a long time, and when he was finally
rescued, there was something very different about him...
