Volac's past is a complete mystery--all records of it were either lost or
destroyed. He is well known for his unquestioning loyalty to the King of
Lodis, and is trusted next to Lans Tartare and Balzepho. His main role in the
game is to watch over Bishop Branta and make sure that he doesn't act too
rashly. At the end of the game, he, Lans Tartare, and Balzepho escape to
Lodis, while Barbas and Martym are up to their other plan...
